Gartner Inc., a leading industry analyst firm has mentioned digital transformation vendor Mavim in the “Hype Cycle for Enterprise Architecture, 2019”* as well as the “’Hype Cycle for Project Portfolio Management, 2019”**. Both hype cycles focused on helping business leaders understand the pace of trends in order to maximize business value.
Although the two documents were focused on different audiences, Mavim was mentioned in both documents under the same category: Strategy Realization Office. The Strategy Realization Office is defined by Gartner as a highly mature EPMO (enterprise program management office) which focuses on achieving company strategy by aligning its program portfolio with the overarching company objectives.
According to Gartner, “The historical high failure rate on realizing the outcomes of planned strategic initiatives (between 50% and 70%) means that a renewed focus on successful strategy execution or realization becomes essential for such initiatives. Strategy realization in the digital business is all about delivering the capability of creating “different and better” repeatedly.”
This is where Mavim comes in. Built upon Office 365 and Visio, Mavim provides software that empowers business leaders to select and execute projects that will contribute to corporate strategy. In collaboration with our partners, Mavim supports a variety of frameworks that simplify alignment by providing a step-by-step guide. By leveraging one of the numerous strategy execution frameworks in Mavim, organizations are able to align future plans with in-flight projects, existing assets, and strategic goals and objectives in order to visualize the interdependencies that impede successful project execution. Mavim provides a graphical interface that dynamically illustrates complex interrelationships and depicts the relationship between strategy, innovation, and the state of execution over time.
According to Gartner this market is current in the adolescent phases of adoption and has the potential for transformation impact.
