Webinar GBS as a digital transformation engine

The Global Business Services (or shared services) organization is the catalyst in driving change, especially in the core support processes (such as source-to-pay, demand-to-cash, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire). Not only because GBS is often responsible for a large portion of the activities, but also because of the knowledge of enterprise-wide end-to-end processes. Having worked under the pressure of year-on-year efficiency targets, GBS organizations have also grown comfortable in disrupting operations and introducing new technologies.

Unfortunately, we see that not all GBS organizations are able to become the digital transformation engine, for varying reasons. Still many GBS organizations find themselves with “fix the basics” as their primary strategic imperative, often the result of a suboptimal build or transition phase. Other GBS leaders struggle to break out of the operate-and-improve paradigm, in which they focus on delivering a 10-15% savings target, yet never discover disruptive “10X” opportunities. Sometimes, GBS organizations simply lack a clear playbook to bring the identified potential into reality, where the ‘why’ and ‘what’ is clear, yet the ‘how’ is missing.

To support GBS organizations with these challenges EY has created industry best practices, embedded in the Mavim Platform, to unleash the full potential of their journey as a transformation engine.

In this webinar you learn:

  • How to move from a service center into a valued business partner
  • How to scale your intelligent automation program rapidly together with Mavim and EY
  • How to turn improvement opportunities into transformation opportunities
  • How to use EY best practices embedded in Mavim as a starting point in your journey as a transformation engine
