Microsoft Co-Sell FAQs

Microsoft sellers win more deals when business processes are clear upfront.

Mavim gives you a standardized, Microsoft-aligned process foundation so you can scope accurately, align partners faster, and deliver Dynamics 365 with higher certainty.

What is Mavim in the Microsoft Ecosystem?

Mavim is a vendor providing a Business Process Catalog (BPC) platform that complements Microsoft Business Applications.
We are
not a System Integrator (SI) and not a partner competing for services revenue.

How does Mavim support co-sell wins?

  • Clarity before commitment
Make business impact visible early—what changes, what stays the same, and where value is created.

    Faster, safer deal cycles
Reduce friction in customer decision-making and partner selection by working from a shared process baseline.

    Higher First-Time-Right delivery
Set implementations up for success before the SOW is signed.

Which industries, companies, and geographies does Mavim work in?

Mavim operates globally across enterprise and upper-mid-market organizations, especially in regulated, process-heavy industries (manufacturing, public sector, financial services, utilities).
We are
the Signavio to SAP — but for the Microsoft ecosystem.

Does Mavim create conflicts of interest with SIs or customers?

No. Mavim does not deliver implementation services.
We
enable SIs, increase project quality, and reduce risk for both Microsoft and the partner ecosystem.

Why do Microsoft Sellers struggle to position ISVs like Mavim?

ISV technology solutions can be difficult to position when:

  • The contract is already closed and value needs to be placed earlier in the cycle.

  • Sellers are compensated primarily through license revenue, unless the ISV has a SKU in Azure Marketplace (PMA/PAC).
We are already working on long-term alignment to ensure Mavim appears in the PDC (Product & Services Catalog) so sellers can attach us more easily.

Is Mavim a Microsoft-recommended solution?

Yes. Mavim is positioned in Microsoft agreements as a preferred / recommended choice for process clarity, business-tech alignment, and transformation governance.
We are not “one of many”; we are the
category leader for Business Process Catalog solutions in the ecosystem.

Why should sellers care about Mavim?

  • We increase win rates by strengthening presales conversations.

  • We accelerate consumption by mapping business processes to Microsoft technology.

  • We reduce project risk for customers, Microsoft, and SIs.

  • We create a repeatable structure for long-term customer success.

How does Mavim support BDM (Business Decision Maker) conversations?

Mavim helps convert abstract goals into concrete operating models, giving sellers a clear narrative for:

  • Value realization

  • Change management

  • Adoption and consumption planning

Does Mavim compete with Microsoft SIs?

No. Mavim empowers SIs by giving them a reusable, structured view of business processes, which reduces delivery friction and increases their ability to execute successfully.

Where does Mavim sit in the Microsoft solution landscape?

Mavim sits above the apps layer, providing the strategic business process view that guides Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure usage.
We help bridge the gap between
business and technology, improving solution design and reducing rework.

What outcomes can sellers expect if they introduce Mavim early?

  • Faster qualification

  • Stronger business cases

  • Clearer solution alignment

  • Higher implementation success

  • Stronger renewal and expansion opportunities

How is Mavim Accredited to Accelerate Microsoft Sales?

Partner Status What It Means Why It Matters to a Microsoft Seller Example Impact
Marketplace Transactable Mavim can be purchased directly through the Azure Marketplace, allowing customers to transact using their Azure subscription. Purchases count toward the customer’s Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), directly increasing Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR). If a customer buys Mavim for € 100K via Marketplace, that spend contributes to their Azure commitment and your consumption goals.
Azure IP Co-sell Incentivized Mavim has passed Microsoft’s technical and commercial validation for Co-sell, and is eligible for Microsoft seller incentives when you include it in a deal. You (as a Microsoft seller) can earn co-sell incentives and quota retirement by attaching Mavim to your deal. You include Mavim in your modernization opportunity — it counts toward your Co-sell scorecard and ACR.
Co-sell Ready Mavim is listed in Microsoft’s Co-sell catalog and visible in internal tools like Partner Center and Partner Sales Connect (PSC). Makes it easy to nominate Mavim in Deal Registration (DealBoost) and collaborate on customer opportunities. You can search “Mavim” in PSC → attach to your opportunity → qualify for funding or ECIF support.
MACC-eligible Mavim transactions count toward a customer’s Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC). Helps customers consume their committed Azure budget, keeping your accounts in compliance and driving renewal readiness. When a customer needs to “burn down” unused MACC, Mavim provides a business-value-driven way to do it.
