Why it was developed
Unnecessary fields are often created during the initial stages of projects, which can lead to a messy and inefficient environment. This new functionality has been developed to address this problem.
Overview
The feature provides a comprehensive view of all existing fields in a Mavim instance, including the field sets and topics in which they are used.
Sorting and filtering
Users can sort and filter the report columns to quickly find the information they need.
Navigation
With one click you can see where a field was used, and with a double click you navigate directly to that topic in the tree structure.
Cleaning up
It makes it easy to clean up and remove unnecessary fields, resulting in a streamlined and efficient maintenance process.
Usage scenario
Imagine a project has created many different fields to collect data in its early stages. After a while, many of these fields turn out to be no longer needed, but it is unclear which fields can be safely removed without breaking functionality. The "field usage reporting capability" allows the user to generate a summary of all fields and see exactly where each field is used. The user can then select and delete the fields that are no longer used anywhere, cleaning up the Mavim environment and making maintenance more efficient.

This feature allows users to sort and filter the usage report columns. By selecting a field, the user can see where it has been used, and double-clicking navigates directly to that topic in the tree view, streamlining the cleanup of unnecessary fields.

Creating Visio diagrams in Mavim iMprove

Why it was developed
Users with a Mavim iMprove Enterprise license can now create new Visio diagrams directly from the hierarchical tree structure. A new option has been added that allows you to easily build and visualize processes. This update makes process modeling easier, allowing you to better structure, edit and manage Visio diagrams.
Increasing ownership of (process) information
With iMprove, continuous improvement of (process) information captured in Mavim can be easily invested in the organization, encouraging and increasing ownership within the organization. Previously, iMprove licensees could only edit existing Visio diagrams.
Create new processes and make improvements
With the new "Create Visio Diagram" feature, process managers with a Mavim iMprove Enterprise license can now create new processes and improvements directly from the hierarchical tree structure, with even less reliance on Mavim Manager users.
Improved structure and management
This update provides improved structure and management of Visio diagrams and reduces reliance on Mavim Manager users for diagram creation. This allows process managers to work more independently and keep process information current and relevant to the organization.
